Neilcorp Homes Wins 2009 Business of the Year!

On October 21, 2009, the Mississippi Mills Chamber of Commerce awarded the prestigious Business of the Year Award to Neilcorp Homes. Over 250 guests attended this years' gala at the Almonte Civitan Community Centre.

Neilcorp Homes has been building quality custom homes in Almonte, Ontario for over 18 years. Founded in 1990 by Almonte resident Doug McIntosh, Neilcorp Homes is now co-owned by McIntosh and his partner Robert Dick, who joined the company in 2002.

This dynamic and passionate pair has been instrumental in guiding their flourishing company - and the town of Almonte - to new heights, particularly in recent years. In 2007 Neilcorp Homes was a finalist for the Tarion Award of Excellence; a prestigious honour that saw them place in the top five of over 18,000 other building companies across Ontario. 

Neilcorp Homes experienced further success in 2009 with Riverfront Estates, their latest Almonte community. Phase 1A of Riverfront Estates sold out in just 90 days and over half of the lots in the recently released Phase 1B are already gone. "They're selling like hotcakes," says Robert Dick. "Many other areas are experiencing slow sales, but there's something very special about Riverfront Estates, and the community of Mississippi Mills."
