Doug McIntosh, Co-Owner

Doug McIntosh started Neilcorp Homes in 1991, transforming his construction expertise into a career of custom home building. Doug takes great pride in having named Neilcorp Homes after his grandfather, Neil McIntosh. The old McIntosh Farm in Almonte now boasts a cluster of stunning custom homes, which proudly reflect the integrity of the company's namesake and it's where Doug and his family now call home.

For eight years after its origin Neilcorp Homes steadily flourished, building beautiful and quality custom homes for individual clients. When a subdivision came available in his hometown of Almonte, Doug jumped at the chance to take Neilcorp Homes in a new direction. Today, Doug manages the Neilcorp Homes enterprise and oversees everything from new home construction and site supervision to customer service and client satisfaction.

Doug is committed to making "100% of his customers 110% happy." Recognizing that new homes are one of the most important investments couples will make together, Doug's greatest thrill comes from seeing the excitement of his customers as they experience their new homes being built from the ground up. Doug lives in Almonte, so his customers are his neighbours, and he enjoys being able to continue these relationships beyond the end of construction. In a small town like Almonte, you never know whom you'll meet in the checkout line! Doug is still heavily involved in the Almonte community. So much so that in the spring of 2008, "McIntosh Park" was named after and dedicated to him.

Robert Dick, Co-Owner

A true entrepreneur in every sense of the word, co-owner Robert Dick joined Neilcorp Homes in 2002. Raised in West Ottawa, Robert began his career at Laidlaw and quickly progressed through the company's ranks. In 1999 he bought Huneault Waste Management Ltd., which he renamed WSI Waste Services, Inc., and served as owner, President, and CEO before selling the business in 2002. Robert also started Ottawa Valley Farms, the city's very first organic recycling facility.

Robert is the perfect complement and counterpart to Doug's expertise in building new homes. Robert oversees the finance, marketing, land acquisition and corporate direction of the company and, along with Doug, provides the passion, drive, and commitment to quality that has made Neilcorp Homes the award-winning company it is today.

Heavily involved in the Almonte and West Ottawa community, Robert serves as a Director of the Mississippi Mills' Chamber of Commerce and the Director of Competitive Fastball for the Kanata Minor Softball Association. He is also an active member of the Mississippi Mills Affordable Housing Committee, the Mississippi Mills Urban and Rural Design Committee, and the Marketing Committee for Mississippi Mills, and he was once Director of the Ontario Waste Management Association and former member of the Almonte Riverwalk Committee.

In Robert's own words, he and Doug are truly "community-oriented owners," interested in building the best homes possible for every one of their customers

Mandy Brigstocke

Mandy Brigstocke is one of those lucky people who has made a career out of what she loves most - houses! She joined Neilcorp Homes in the spring of 2008, bringing with her extensive experience in custom and news home building. She has won numerous awards, including Salesperson of the Year and the Million Dollar Circle Award from the New Homebuilders Association of Guelph-Kitchener-Waterloo.
